Resource modeling

A block model that matches the geology

Spatial analysis is only useful when the wireframes follow structure and the estimate can be checked against the samples that built it.

Spatial boundaries

Domains are drawn from structure, alteration, and grade continuity together. Kriging is applied inside those domains so a high grade in one rock type does not bleed into another.

Reporting codes

Tonnage and grade tables are prepared so they can sit inside a JORC or NI 43-101 report. Classification follows the drill spacing and the quality of the data, and both are stated.

Models that update

New holes are added without rebuilding the whole story from scratch. Each update records what changed in tonnage, grade, and classification, and why.

From technical reviews

The model became the map the mine used for the next excavation panel. The ore contacts were where the sections said they would be.

The resource tables stood up in front of the audit committee. The peer review asked for the variograms, and they were already in the appendix.

The grade we model and the grade we mine now sit close enough that the monthly reconciliation meeting is short.
